People behind the 20 years history of the INOGATE Programme 1996 – 2016

Description

The overall objective of the Programme is to contribute to the progress of the INOGATE Partner Countries in the achievement of the Baku Initiative and the Eastern Partnership objectives. The programme would support a reduction in their dependency on fossil fuels and imports, improvement of the security of their energy supply, and climate change overall mitigation.

Combined event on Sustainable Energy awareness raising in Dublin, Ireland

Description

INOGATE Technical Secretariat conducted a combined event, which included a training course and study visits on awareness raising in sustainable energy. The combined event included participants from five INOGATE Partner countries (PCs), including Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine. The event took place in Dublin, Ireland on 15-19 June, 2015.

Description

The policy review process, carried out in two cycles in 2013 and 2014, has now been finalised and the International Energy Agency, with the support of the INOGATE Technical Secretariat, has produced a new compendium publication entitled IEA Energy Policy Review of countries in Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia.
