INOGATE secretariat
At the heart of the INOGATE Programme is the INOGATE Technical Secretariat (ITS). The Secretariat, inaugurated in Kiev in 2000, is the coordination mechanism of the INOGATE Programme and has been active in providing the networking, coordination and promotion aspects of the INOGATE Programme’s activities. As of 2012, the ITS also provides significant technical assistance to the Partner Countries in all the thematic areas.
At the moment, there are four official INOGATE Secretariat offices as follows:
- Kiev office covering the Eastern European region (Belarus, Moldova, Ukraine)
- Two Tbilisi offices covering the Caucasus region (Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia)
- Tashkent office covering the 5 Central Asia countries (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan)
The Kiev office is the main office of the INOGATE Secretariat, headed by the Team Leader. The team working for the Secretariat includes over 20 full-time staff and over 50 additional experts working on specific assignments.
