INOGATE Programme
Climate Change
Climate change is defined as any long-term significant change in the "average weather" that a region experiences. This phenomenon is closely linked to the energy sector. While the INOGATE Programmes does not directly support projects in this area, it does support initiatives in mitigating the effects of climate change by promoting sustainable energy policies and environmental considerations.
Climate changes issues are addressed under all the INOGATE projects but especially within the energy efficiency and renewable energy sectors. Updates can be found under INOGATE projects.
This section of the INOGATE web portal provides information related to the climate change through presenting a series of links to relevant studies, reports, position papers, market reviews, working documents, etc. Unless otherwise indicated, links are to PDF documents.
