INOGATE Programme
Country Coordinators
The INOGATE Country Coordinators have an important role in facilitating the Partner Countries progress towards the achievement of the objectives of the Energy Road Map.
- To serve as the national contact point with reference to INOGATE and the country's activities in respect to the Energy Road Map
- To coordinate their country's inputs to the agreed work programmes in cooperation with their country's working group members and the INOGATE Technical Secretariat
- To monitor and report on the progress in their country relevant to the Energy Road Map, with the support of the Working Group Members
To promote the INOGATE Programme in their country
To ensure that their country is represented correctly on the INOGATE web portal
- To support the preparation of the ministerial meetings
To network the energy stakeholders in their country
- Follow-up all legal, regulatory and institutional changes and activities in their country relevant to the energy sector and regional cooperation
- Follow-up all relevant activities in their country in the 4 pillars of the Energy Road Map (energy market convergence, safety and security, sustainable energy development and investment projects facilitation) with the assistance of the relevant Working Group Members
- Monitor news and collect information on the energy sector
- Support the implementation of ongoing INOGATE technical assistance projects
- Liaise with all energy stakeholders in their country
- Draft/review required documents necessary for Ministerial Conference
- Attend Working Group and Country Coordinator meetings, as well as other events
- Contribute to the organization of events in their country related to energy and regional cooperation
- Contribute information and news to the INOGATE web portal and ensure validity of information on their country's section
