INOGATE & Turkey

The Republic of Turkey has been an INOGATE Partner Country since 1996. As of 2005, when EU accession negotiations were started, Turkey became an observer country to the INOGATE Programme. Until that time, Turkey benefited from 7 of INOGATE's 69 projects.

Turkey participates in all the annual steering events of the INOGATE Programme as it is a strategic link between the EU and many of the other INOGATE Partner Countries.
