Study tour of the project “Harmonisation of gas and oil technical standards and practices in Eastern Europe and the Caucasus”

Objective

Visit to national standards bodies in Germany and Slovakia as well as to
users of standards (oil and gas companies) in the same countries, to develop
full understanding of the functioning of EU standards bodies, the European
standardisation structure, and the legal and regulatory basis of the operation of the
standards bodies.

Participants

In total 26 participants from the Project countries, representing Ministries of
Energy, National Standards Bodies, oil and gas producing and transporting
companies
