Training seminars on European and International methodologies for harmonisation of high and low voltage standards for the electric sector


Two identical three days’ training seminars in Yerevan and Tashkent were dedicated to the presentation of the European methodology of harmonisation of high and low voltage technical regulations with the use of real-life examples. These training seminars, alongside with others became the basis of a regional awareness campaign developed to promote harmonisation and synergy between various national administrations dealing with electricity regulations.


15 participants from Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Georgia and Armenia attended the seminar in Yerevan and 10 participants from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan attended the seminar in Tashkent. Participants were the officials dealing with transmission and distribution system operators, national companies responsible for setting and implementing regulations for high and low voltage electricity sectors.
