Combined event on Energy Service Companies (ESCO) for Armenia, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine. Regional Work Plan (RWP.09)
Objective
The Overall Objective of the Combined Event to focus on policy-related topics which are in line with the requirements of the EnC acquis. In this respect, the Overall Objective of the assistance is to align the national legislations of Armenia, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine with the EnC acquis with specific regard to the energy services and EPC requirements of the Energy Efficiency Directive 2012/27/EU. In conjunction with this, it is to increase the capacity of the participants to develop viable energy service markets in their countries both on the supplier side (ESCOs) and the consumer side (EPC procurement). As a consequence, the Combined Event will both assist the Partner Countries (PCs) in delivering their EnC acquis requirements as well as secure a sound basis for significant improvements in the energy efficiency of their respective countries in the future.
