Combined Event on the Benefits and Requirements of the EU Directive on Energy Performance in Buildings, RWP.08

Objective

EU-funded INOGATE Technical Secretariat (ITS) Project is conducting a combined event, which includes a training course and study visits on the benefits and requirements of the EU Directive on Energy Performance in Buildings. The combined event will include participants from five INOGATE Partner countries (PCs), Armeniaб Azerbaidjan, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine. The event will take place in Copenhagen, Denmark on 14-18 December, 2015.

The Specific Objectives of this assistance are as follows:

1. To help the PCs understand elements of the Directive and be able to transpose it into their National Legislations;
2. To help the PCs comply with the Directive once it has been promulgated in National Legislations;
3. To follow-up with the results of EU ESIB project and to enhance the capacity of decision makers in the implementation of reforms to the building sector.
