Development of National Standardisation in the Electricity and Gas Sectors, CWP.04.MD (AHEF.073.MD)

Objective

The EU experience with CEN/CENELEC TC, as well as the experience from the INOGATE PCs, shows that Technical Committees are crucial not only for the adoption of European and international standards, but also for the preparation of national standards. A TC is a technical decision making body which is usually composed of many representatives from different energy stakeholders and is chaired by the chairperson.

The overall objective of this assignment is to strengthen the EU and international electricity and gas standards expertise in Moldova by training specialists (potential TC members) in best practice of TC activities and duties. The assistance will also support the development of Technical Committees (TC) on Standardisation in Moldova.
