ITS.AHEF.82.AM - Workshop “Capacity building for financing of EE / RES projects”

Objective

The objective of this workshop was to enhance bank capacity to capitalise the EE/RES sector in Armenia. Instructors introduced bank officers to skills specific for EE/RES projects: how to identify and mitigate risks through support and guarantee mechanisms, how to perform a sensitivity analysis and how to create optimal financing tools, conditions and monitoring plans.

More specifically, this workshop for bank officers was aimed at developing skills in evaluating proposals and creating optimal financing tools, conditions and monitoring plans for EE/RES projects.

The participants found workable, alternative solutions in developing EE/RES projects through group work and completing exercises with hidden pitfalls and traps to stimulate discussion.
