Round Table “Investments in Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Sources in the Eastern Europe”
Objective
The objective of this Round Table meeting on March 10 - 11, 2011, was to facilitate a discussion for various organisations related to the energy efficiency and renewable energy sources (EE and RES) investment process in the three countries of the Eastern Europe (Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova). The Round Table was organized jointly by the INOGATE Project SEMISE and the Ukrainian League of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (ULIE).
Participants
This two-day Round Table attracted:
42 participants:
- 5 participants from the Republic of Belarus;
- 7 participants from the Republic of Moldova;
- 22 participants from Ukraine; and
- 8 international participants;
that represented 33 organisations:
- 7 governmental;
- 3 international;
- 12 businesses;
- 5 NGOs;
- 5 LFIs; and
- 1 IFI.
Results
<p>15 presentations were made and 3 general discussions took place (according to the attached Agenda).<br /> <br /> The corresponding press-release is also attached.<br /> <br /> In terms of visibility, the event got the media coverage as per the attached publications list.</p>Key Data
