Technical Exchange Programme: Sustainable energy regulation
Objective
The exchange visit made it possible to differentiate between the various needs and expectations of the participants by scheduling tailor-made meetings with different peer organisations of the host country.
This exchanges made it possible for the participants to learn from the hands-on experiences of regulators from the same region who have more advanced regulatory arrangements in place. At the same time exchange programme relied on the experiences of EU member regulators for bringing in the relevant EU experience whenever it is applicable.

Participants
The technical exchange programme involved only one half of the Partner Countries (Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan), each delegating two participants.
Results
<p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The Exchange Programme allowed for the dissemination of hands-on experiences of applied regulatory practices in the energy efficiency, renewable and district heating as well as the treatment of vulnerable customers.</p> <p>The host organisation of the 2-day visit represented energy regulators of EU new member states.</p>Key Data
